This was the question raised by Ed Miliband, Leader of the Labour Party, when speaking at the Labour’s People’s Policy Forum in Nottingham on Saturday 25 March.
The party held the People’s Policy Forum to find out more about what voters in Notts and the East Midlands thought were priorities.
It has been reported that Mr Miliband asked the audience to “Think about the EMA. What would have happened if 1.5m 16-18 year olds were able to vote. I think the government would have thought twice about abolishing the EMA then“.
